Firstly I’d like to acknowledge the indigenous people of Eora nation who are the traditional custodians of this land and would further like to extend my respect to elders past, present and emerging and celebrate the diversity of Aboriginal peoples and their ongoing cultures and connections to the lands and waters of NSW the land on which this studio was established.

Founded in 2020 by Ash Fischer, FISCH has developed a distinct and recognisable design language rooted in colour, material and form. What began as an exploration has grown into a confident practice that reimagines the giddy optimism design once held decades ago, translating that spirit into a contemporary context.

By continuously experimenting with new objects, materials and processes, FISCH builds an ever-evolving body of work that resists stagnation. From sustainability-led pieces to fluid reinterpretations of everyday home goods, the studio moves with a familiar–unfamiliar design ethos — nostalgic yet forward, expressive yet deliberate, and always in motion.
